自 1880 年以來，大坑舞火龍一直是年度盛事，當年有位村民夢到舞弄一隻插滿線香的假蛇可以使村莊免於瘟疫之災。
今時今日，這盛會仍然繼續，強壯的舞者在嘈雜的中國音樂和喝彩聲中和火龍融為一體。
