International Robot Exhibition
It's the battle between high-tech cybernetics and good old-fashioned "elbow grease."

Hugh Jackman’s latest blockbuster “Real Steel” may not be hitting Japanese theaters for another month or so, but in the meantime you can get your cybernetic fix at the International Robot Exhibition at Tokyo Big Sight.

The expo will showcase the latest in robotic technologies, including an exhibit about “Quince,” one of the robots currently being used to help with the Tohoku recovery effort.

The event also features a variety of engaging, family-friendly events like a booth where kids can build their own maze-like course to send mini-robots through.

Don’t miss the Robo-One GP on November 12, where top fighting ‘bots battle it out; and a display of robot dancing. November 9 - 12, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Tokyo Big Sight, Odaiba. More info online.
