Cerulean Tower
First time vistors to Tokyo who stay in the Cerulean Tower find it hard to tear themselves away from the amazing window views.

Tokyu's Cerulean Tower is the place to stay if you just have to be in the middle of Shibuya -- Tokyo's entertainment, shopping and youth culture hub. It's a mere three minutes from the station.

Location aside, the Cerulean Tower is an impressive skyscraper hotel, with 400 rooms spread across the 19th to 37th floors.

The deco is smart and simple, and rooms come with decent sized web-enabled TVs, large desks and windows with amazing views of the city. Advance city watches can request rooms with a night panorama of Shibuya or Shinjuku, or even the elusive "Mt Fuji on a clear day."

The 40th floor Bello Visto restaurant and bar is dimly lit to enhance enjoyment of the night views, and perhaps make it more difficult to read the check -- which is not a bad thing when the wine starts at ¥1,500 a glass.
