What's not to like about this?Fashionsnap.com reports [Japanese] about select shop United Arrows' new charity program where customers can donate old men's and women's suits (both pants and jacket). Those who drop off suits at a United Arrows green label relaxing location between February 11 to 28 will receive a ¥3,000 discount on a new business suit from green label relaxing.
Odette é Odile United Arrows meanwhile is collecting old women's shoes for the same program from February 15 to 28. Shoppers who donate will receive a ¥1,000 coupon for each pair of shoes and will be able to use up to two coupons per ¥10,000 spent in the store.
United Arrows will donate all the collected used clothing to NGO Jumoku Kankyo Network, who will in turn sell the clothing to thrift retailer King Family. Portions of this sale will go towards funding environmental education for children.
