A men's light gray peak lapel suit and hooded jacket are a few of the pieces in the first +J Uniqlo collection, due sometime this fall.American fashion mag "GQ" has posted pictures of a few choice men's items from the new Uniqlo-Jil Sander collaboration line: +J. Meanwhile sister mag "Vogue" has offered pictures of the collection's womenswear line.
The pieces look strikingly similar to the minimalist chic of Sander's signature line, with lots of crisp button-up shirts for the corporate woman. And Sander's fondness for monochromes has muted Uniqlo's normal rainbow of color options.
The best news is that +J should be extremely affordable, with no single piece over the ¥20,000 range.
Fashion blog Hypebeast further contributed to our knowledge of the line by uploading grainy scans of +J Uniqlo from Japanese fashion magazine "Men's Non•no." Knowing Uniqlo's past collaborations, expect the sizing to fit no one other than those professional models.
