Haruki Murakami's '1Q84' Part 3 on sale
The first part had a green Q. The second part had an orange Q. This promo image suggests that the third part will have a blue Q.The third and final installment of Haruki Murakami's best-selling novel "1Q84" is out today April 16, and CNNGo contributor Daniel Morales of blog How to Japonese will be live-tweeting his reading of the book. This Web 2.0 exercise in literary fanboyism will pick up from Morales' live-blogging of the first two volumes back in May 2009. Although his posts may give away a bit about the plot, this is one of the best ways to get a sense of the new work while waiting for its eventual translation into English, due some time in 2011.
Murakami fans should also check out Morales' review of "1Q84" at Néojaponisme, which manages to tie the novel into Murakami's career and not give away too many spoilers. For non-Murakami fans, these tweets should provide an insight into Japan's biggest-selling novel of last year. One million Japanese readers can't be wrong...
