Grand Hyatt Tokyo: Revitalise and Refresh Stay

Grand Hyatt's winter package pulls no punches, including a stay in a Grand Room and detox healthy lunch to heat the insides the next day. Before that though, you can feel like a hot lunch yourself with the Moor Mud Body Wrap, a 60 minute treatment aimed at increasing your metabolism.

The Nagomi Spa with its dark oak entrance and low lighting create a fireplace effect before you've even led down on the comfy beds.

For first-timers, the sensation of black mud smeared over the body may bring trepidation, but relax, once the warm towels and wrapping have cocooned you, you'll wish you could hibernate just a little longer.

The several-thousand year-old mud is a blend of botanical materials and thermal mineral water so it seems a shame to wash it all away, but once you have it's back to the massage table for 20 minutes of light pressure to ease the muscles. 

The Revitalise and Refresh Stay comes with two types of rooms, the Grand Room (Single - ¥64,680 to ¥88,935; Double - ¥87,780 to ¥112,035) or Grand Executive Suite (Single - ¥150,150 to ¥174,405; Double - ¥167,475 to ¥191,730).

Either way, expect compactness and class, the beds are super soft, the rich mahogany creates a winter cabin atmosphere and the rain shower will remind you of how Tokyo's summer rain feels.
