Mori Buiding's new high-priced aerial service to Narita Airport cuts travel time in half
Narita helicopterMori spares their passengers from a non-luxury helicopter experience by using the Hermès Edition of the EC135 Eurocopter.
Mori Building -- Tokyo developer of all things opulent -- is launching a new Narita helicopter service to whisk the rich and famous off to the city's international airport in just thirty minutes. Green Car seats on the hour-long Narita Express train were once the fastest and most exclusive option for a high-end ride out to the distant Chiba air-hub. But now for eight times the price of the N'Ex, Mori's chopper can chop travel time in half.

Regular prices for the helicopter will be ¥50,000 one-way, ¥75,000 round-trip, but as a special promotion, Mori has discounted the price to ¥38,000/¥70,000 until the end of 2009. For this small fee, Mori's limousine service will pick you up from your office or apartment, drive you to the heliport on top of ARK Hills in Akasaka, fly you to the Sakura Heliport in Narita and then drive you 15 minutes to Narita Airport proper. If you don't mind frequently hopping in and out of different vehicles, this is the pinnacle of airport transfer luxury.

Service starts on September 16, but reservations can be booked from August 17. Mori will run around 12 helicopters a day to Narita, and 10 back from the airport to Tokyo. And when you want to use your own preferred helipad, Mori offers chartered flights.
