We've got some advice for you and your techno posse looking to get on the dance floor tonight: Drop into Tokyo's Soft -- one of Shibuya's sweetest (and sweatiest) basement dance spots du jour.
Soft is known for its European flare and house-music throw-down events catering to the likes of Swedes, Germans and French. True, the pricey drinks might strip you of this month's salary, but the elixcirs help suck you into the Miami Bass or early Detroit House beats blaring from the sound system.
Like everywhere else in Tokyo, check the schedule at Soft to make sure you find drinks and music and not, I don't know, somebody's wedding reception.
