The Fruits of Adventures show is all about contrasts.
“The Fruits of Adventures” exhibit at the Zeit-Foto Salon in Kyobashi is currently showing 10 Japanese artists who have traveled outside Japan and lived in various parts of the world.
The works reflect the artists’ experiences from cities as far apart as Cologne, Barcelona, New York and Beijing. Artists compare and contrast the cultures and politics of those cities with Japan - an island nation famously isolated in so many ways.
The exhibit runs from March 11 to April 28.
