Japan's cramped urban real estate has given rise to some downright desperate architectural measures, but perhaps none quite as striking as this home. It measures less than two meters wide, one meter and seventy centimeters, to be exact, making it impossible for a significant portion of the Japanese population to even lay down along the structure's width.

Designed by a gentleman who works for a company that specializes in designing homes for undersized lots, it also features exposed building elements to showcase his company's construction style. Intended to accomodate just a single occupant, could this tiny dwelling be just the thing for the city's eternally single otaku population?
