Vegan Healing Cafe
We don't suggest eating this sign, but if you did, it just may be vegan.

Being a vegan in Tokyo has never been easier with the Vegan Healing Cafe opening in Shibuya. We went, we ate, we saw, and here's our trusty report:

The majority of our favorite menu options -- though, admittedly, there is little taste variation between dishes -- includes faux meats like fried soy, falafel burger and tempeh sausage, all accompanied by a seriously robust helping of brown rice and miso soup. Although they left something to be desired, the Vegan Healing Cafe also offers bowls overflowing with ethnic-type foods like Vietnamese noodles and Indian curries.

So, if you're anti-meat, need some killer -- albeit close-quartered -- ambiance and night out with your veggie-loving friends, grab a seat at Shibuya's Vegan Healing Cafe. Word from the wise: You may wanna pocket your own seasoning for a pre-meal dousing. Don't say we didn't warn you.
