Nagi Shokudo

Behind the looming Cerulean Hotel lies one of Shibuya's best eateries, Nagi Shokudo. With an all-vegan menu that runs the gamut of Japanese dishes and with its highly-curated drink selection, Nagi Shokudo perfectly melds traditional Japanese vegetable-heavy cuisine with modern trends in global health food.

A hub of do-it-yourself indie culture, the cozy cafe seats up to twenty people and includes a small bookshop and a great selection of free jazz, experimental and pop CDs for sale.

Office ladies love it for lunch, as the grub is nutritious, delicious and easy on the wallet (¥1000 for a three entree lunch including brown rice, pickles, miso soup and drink). Nagi Shokudo is recommended for dinner, as the space becomes less busy and the prices only increase a few hundred yen.
