Maybe the clue is in its name, but Le Cafe du Bon Bon always does things in twos. The café is only open two days a week, and the cakes are sold in pairs.
The cafe/atelier is like being inside a gastronome's private kitchen. Enjoy watching the owner Ms Yuki Kobota bake the day's cakes and cookies by hand with extreme pride and care. Cakes are displayed on the center table like fine jewelry, two ovens line the wall and there's seating for no more than eight.
Cake sets are available for ¥1,300 (choice of two confectioneries and a hot drink). Le Cafe du Bon Bon's table is more intimate and exclusive than a Michelin-starred restaurant will ever be.
