ナンが添えられたアジャンタの人気カレー 3 種。
In a city filled with solidly performing Indian curry joints, Ajanta feels like a step above the rest.
Perhaps this is because of its huge head start on the competition: Ajanta opened in 1957. It also doesn't hurt that the Indian embassy is nearby as well.
South Indian style curries are its specialty, and unlike a lot of Indian restaurants in Tokyo, the default setting for most dishes is honest-to-god spicy.
Particularly recommended: keema curry (¥1,680) and the subtle yet powerful mutton curry (¥1,680).
Ajanta also has an e-commerce shop that lets you recreate the curry magic at home.
