Wine Bar Natsugi-an is run by and aimed at people who take their wines very seriously -- and don't mind paying for the privilege.
With close to 300 different wines from around the world to choose from, including 42 different types of champagne alone that start at a mere ¥10,000. The menu tops out at ¥220,000 for a bottle of the impressive 1985 Krug Collection.
A selection of the stock is available by the glass, while bottles start at a mere ¥8,000. Meanwhile, at the top-end, a wealthy connoisseur is likely to be tempted by the 2004 Montrachet Burgogne blanc for ¥320,000, while the Chateau Le Pin 1994 will set you back ¥340,000.
The food selection is smaller but the meals are of a similarly high standard, while the private rooms at Wine Bar Natsugi-an overlook the busy streets of Ginza and, in the distance, offer a glimpse of Tokyo Tower.
