Had you ever considered this old style of lighted sign as a symbol of rock'n'roll? Thanks for expanding the referential canon, Rock no Cocoro!
Rock no Cocoro -- meaning "The Heart of Rock" -- is a bar for those who like it thrashy. The little rock-themed hole-in-the-wall is located in the middle of the record-store heavy Udagawacho district, making it the perfect place to get a drink after an afternoon of crate-digging.
The third-floor Rock no Cocoro offers a bird's eye view of the throb of Shibuya and wails nightly with the spins of rock-obsessed DJs. Themes vary by night but include the normally loud standards metal, punk, hard rock and the nation-based genre "UK."
In addition to the usual beer-and-cocktails liquor menu, Rock no Cocoro also offers bar snacks and a few heartier food selections like fried croquettes and soba. There is no cover charge, thankfully, and draft beer is available at rock'n'roll prices.
