Eclectic, warm, spacious and sound proofed -- rooms at the Crown Hotel are a good place to rest up after the town spits you back up.
They might as well put a placard on this place that reads, "Busy 24/7."
The Crown Hotel houses one of the city’s most popular nightspots, the pub operates 24 hours, and you’re also on one of Sydney’s busiest roads, not to mention most hectic social hubs.
That said, the rooms are actually quiet, because all eight are well soundproofed.
This is not, by any means, a full-service hotel; the person behind the bar is your concierge a lot of the time; it's a fairly casual operation.
So if you want an attractive room in which to lay your splitting head after enjoying the restaurants, bars and clubs of Surry Hills, then this could be a good option. It’s stumbling distance from the lot.
