The calm shopfront belies the workshop just behind, where McDonald and his team work their magic with leather and suede. 

You can purchase from the ready-to-wear collection on display, but for the full experience, you can have a pair of shoes or boots made for you.

The bespoke service takes three fittings from first consultation to ready-to-wear –- and you’ll have your own unique shoes.

And if you really catch the shoe bug, you can even take part in one of McDonald’s shoemaking courses.
