It may be in a pub, but The Restaurant is certainly no sawdust-after-midnight type of place.
Chef Leigh McDivitt has put out an adventurous, seasonal menu, heavy on meats and game. Of course there’s an element of mad scientist, with seashore foams, basil jellies and pink rhubarb gels, but that's what makes this place stand out.
The wine list is exceptional, with seasoned staff able to make great recommendations.
