Not to be outdone, Fairmont Singapore is offering packages that include Grand Stand tickets (from September 25 to 27). The three night Grand Stand F1 Room Package starts at S$3,950, while the four night deal (25 to 29 September) starts at S$4,600. These include daily buffet breakfast for two at the Italian restaurant Prego, and access to the Willow Stream Spa, which is a great way to calm down after a night of 300kph action.

Pan Pacific Singapore's Rooms with a View package

Pan Pacific Singapore is teaming up with the Singapore Flyer for a joint three-day room and entertainment package priced from S$1,900 per guest (or S$2,588 for two). It's quite a smart move, as F1 enthusiasts can witness the trackside festivities from both the Singapore Flyer and hotel.

What you get from Pan Pacific -- accommodation in a deluxe room at Pan Pacific Singapore and trackside views at turn six of the track. What the Singapore Flyer offers is a three-day pass to the Flyer, three Singapore Flyer Basic Flight Tickets, a party boat service between the Singapore Flyer jetty and Clarke Quay and entry to the Singapore Flyer Viewing Gallery with live screenings of the race.
