Your vote wanted -- Singapore's Doodle 4 Google best entries
Entries for the "Doodle 4 Google" contest -- more colors than a Benetton advert.Back in January, Google Singapore launched its first ever Doodle 4 Google competition. It's the first of its kind in Southeast Asia and the theme will be "Our Singapore," where students can express what they love about their nation using the Google logo. Now, they've unveiled the top 50 final entries and the local public can vote for their favorite doodles from the shortlisted entries across five age groups.

The winning entry will appear on the Google Singapore homepage on National Day 2010, while the national winner, along with one parent and a school representative, will also receive an all-expenses paid trip worth S$10,000 to Google's headquarters in Mountain View, California. In total, there were nearly 30,000 doodle entries submitted from over 400 schools.
Derek Callow, head of marketing for Google Southeast Asia, said to CNNGo, "Based on our experience in other parts of the world, we were pleasantly surprised to receive so many doodle entries from preschools to tertiary institutions, for a country the size of Singapore! The students' artwork really showed their exceptional talent and we were blown away by the designs."
