The Romantic Violin on The Brahms Strad -- doubly good for kids

For one night only, Singapore’s very own Min Lee has the honor of playing the famed S$12.6 milion Brahms Stradivarius violin at The Arts House. Aptly titled “The Romantic Violin on The Brahms Strad,” pianist Vaclav Macha will attempt to bring the house down with music by great composers like Johan Brahms and Henryk Wieniawski.

The event will also be a platform for budding young talents to take centre stage in a recital called SHINE. Following the recital, a panel dialogue session called “Young Achievers – Setting Them Up For Success” will be held to discuss issues concerning nurturing young talents which would be headlined by the likes industry voices such as Min Lee herself and Prof Ding Zuo from Shanghai Conservatory of Music .

“I am delighted to be able to provide a platform for these wonderful young musicians. After, all, the future of classical music starts with the young ones,” says Min Lee.
