149,000 people visited the casino in Resorts World Sentosa in the first week of operations. It's the first whiff of a big winner at the first casino in Singapore. According to Nanyang Siang Pau, among the 149,000 people who visited the Resorts World Sentosa casino in its first week of operation, one middle-aged man won more than S$1.5 million in a day.
The game was baccarat, and the gambler, accompanied by a young woman, was reported to occasionally scold the croupier if he lost. He also carried a lucky charm in the form of a golden Buddha palm, which he placed on the table.
It's not known how big a tip he left for the croupier.
