Fan video: First person views of the Battlestar Galactica roller coasters

The verdict's still out on which ride's better, but this gives a good idea. YouTube video from derekcsy90.

The videos are a bit laggy but since the Battlestar Galactica ride at Universal Studios Singapore is still under testing (read our article here), it's the next best thing. 19 year-old Derek Chua produced this video of how the pair of dueling roller coasters would look like when completed, and what the passengers will see.

The video above shows the first person view from the Cylon coaster, where passengers ride on the Cylon Raider and battle it out with a Colonial Viper Mark-II in the skies of Singapore. The avid gamer and Battlestar Galactica fan built the virtual replica using the game Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 (RCT3) and added in a mixture of the Battlestar Galactica theme, plus some random beats in between. He's obviously looking forward to the ride, calling it "the most anticipated coaster in Universal Studios Singapore."
