The 10 best parties of the Singapore F1 2011
F1 2011: It's more about the parties than the cars. So many parties, and way too few days … we cut to the chase on where to be, and when, and clue you on who you’ll be dancing and drinking with.
1. Amber Lounge

The Amber Lounge Fashion show takes the spotlight on September 24 with local designer Frederick Lee’s couture collection specially created for the evening.
Some 15 lanky models will strut down the runway in sexy red carpet gowns and plunging backless tutus alongside the F1 Third Drivers -- Jules Bianchi, Sam Bird, Karun Chandhok, Romain Grosjean, Luiz Razia, Alexander Rossi, Robert Wickens and Sakon Yamamoto -- who will swap their race suits for slick designer suits.
Don’t miss the after party with guest DJ Lora -- she's fresh off a gig spinning for the Kardashians -- and resident Amber Lounge DJ Micky, and a live performance by Britain’s Taio Cruz -- he's not just there to pop open bottles of Cristal.
On September 25, there is no other party that will compare to the shenanigans that go on at this no-photography party. And all the F1 drivers will be there at some point for post-race refreshments.
Why you should go: It’ll cost you, but this is a true VIP party experience, and for what it’s worth, the drinks flow freely and smoothly.
