Tiger Beer's shiny new platinum look
No more gold highlights -- it's mostly platinum touches from now on for Tiger Beer
If you're out for a brew or five this evening, don't be surprised if your regular Tiger Beer looks a bit different. The home-grown brew brand has ripped the covers off a brand new look to commemorate what could be described as its year -- the Chinese Year of the Tiger. The new look sees all gold elements of the brand’s label being replaced with a platinum finish, but the beer itself will remain untouched. Phew.
It's interesting to note that even before making its way into the hands of beer lovers here, the new Platinum look has already received much acclaim for its re-design, making off with both the Gold and Silver accolades at the 2009 World Beer Championships Packaging Competition.
The new look will carry across all the Tiger Beer range, including the 30 and 50cl cans as well as the pint and quart dark amber bottles. To get a closer look at Tiger’s new Platinum packaging, head down to www.tigerbeer.com.sg.
