Shopping mall brings white Christmas to Singapore
Tanglin Mall on Orchard Road has captivated customers and award judges with its Wintry Wonderland
Tanglin Mall beat some tough competition to the Best Dressed Building title.A white Christmas in Singapore may be as rare as hen's teeth, but Tanglin Mall is changing that this year. Visitors to the mall can experience the whitest of Christmases on the sunny island; just one of the reasons the mall has won the 2009 Christmas Best Dressed Building Contest.
Organised by the Orchard Road Business Association, Tanglin Mall beat 11 shopping centres along Orchard Road with its captivating decorations, which include an ice cream castle made from recycled items.
Runners up include TANGS Orchard, The Centrepoint, Paragon and ION Orchard.
