"Boomz boomz": Miss Singapore World gets parodied and mocked (again)

She's been subjected to a wave of online ridicule and her English has been dubbed "so shockingly bad" that it is considered, by some, to be an embarrassment. Now, the current Miss Singapore World 2009, Miss Ris "I'd wear something boomz" Low has come under the remix mastery of top blogger and podcaster MrBrown. Call it a dubbing of a different kind.
The audio remix plays to the tune of the Wonder Girl's "So Hot" hit, scattered with soundytes, including her red "bigini" (bikini) and tight "leopard prince" (leopard prints). MrBrown calls it the "boomz combo," and he couldn't resist doing this remix to the "Queen of Leopard Prince."
However, kudos to the young beauty queen, who seems to be taking the unexpected infamy in her stride. In an interview with The New Paper, Ris Low candidly admits, "I wouldn't be really hurt because I know my diction isn't very good. But I am trying to improve, because I want to make Singapore proud."
She has plans to brush up on her speaking skills, including listening to more English news programs, rehearsing potential questions and speaking in front of a mirror to build her confidence for the Miss World 2009 showdown in South Africa.
