Stefanie Sun pulls off a secret wedding

Back in 2009, she told reporters "I will start thinking about marriage around two years from now."
True to her word, the homegrown songbird wedded her longtime boyfriend Nadim Van Der Ros in a quiet civil ceremony on March 31, 2011.
No details had surfaced till now, and it would have stayed that way had a Shin Min Daily reporter not uncovered a marriage application while surfing the Registry of Marriages (ROM) website, showing that Sun had registered her union with Van Der Ros.
The ROM search showed details of Van Der Ros' birthdate, as well as Sun's dialect name, Sng Ee Tze.
While Sun has never kept her five-year relationship with Van Der Ros a secret, she has been extremely private about her love life, preferring not to talk about him.
Aside from an accidental slip on a Taiwanese TV talk show where she disclosed that Van Der Ros was Indonesian by birth but adopted by a Dutch family, Sun has smartly evaded all questions about him, once even resorting to talking about Jolin Tsai's beau Vivian Dawson to divert attention from herself.
According to the latest report by AsiaOne news, Sun's confirmed her civil marriage to the Taiwanese media, and there's speculation of a small ceremony taking place in early May.
Well, the cat's out of the bag, and the timing could not be better as Sun has just released her new album named "It's Time."
The irony of the album title is surely not lost on anyone.
