Stefanie Sun becomes Mrs van der Ros
After five years of dating, the 32-year-old Singaporean singer-songwriter made it official with her beau Nadim van der Ros on their fifth anniversary on May 8, 2011.
The couple had previously registered their civil union on March 31, 2011.

On the wedding day, 30 friends and family members gathered at Sun's home at Stevens Road while six security guards kept the foreign and local members of the media at bay.
Van der Ros arrived in grand style at 10:40 a.m. in a white stretch limousine. Following local tradition, the Indonesian-born, Dutch-raised 34-year-old insurance executive had to perform a series of dares before being allowed to see Sun.
In a video report by Razor TV, the dares included giving a red packet to the bridesmaids, performing a lion dance and peeling oranges to make an auspicious Chinese character, consuming four drinks symbolizing the sweet, sour, bitter and spicy side of life, playing children's musical instruments and executing a series of yoga poses.
Sun wore a simple white gown and a string of pearls. In a media statement, she described the wedding as "a happy process, which [I'm] neither too nervous or stressed-out about."
Clearly Sun wasn't feeling any pre-wedding jitters as she admitted to staying up the night before till 1 a.m. watching the Singapore General Elections.
Sun and van der Ros held a wedding dinner at the Capella Hotel on Sentosa Island later that day, and are due to throw a celebratory banquet in Taiwan for her friends and staff at a later date.
