iFly Singapore: Flying without wings, a parachute or fear of falling to your death
Look, Ma! No parachute!
With the opening of iFly Singapore later this month, everyone who's ever dreamed of flying can now do so; hands-free, parachute-free and fear-free.
Unlike other forms of flying, the S$25-million-dollar indoor skydiving wind tunnel allows anyone above the age of three, not pregnant and weighing less than 109 kilograms to take flight in less than an hour.
After a pre-flight training skills session, once inside the 17-meter-high, five-meter-wide wind tunnel, you're free to hang loose, perform somersaults and strike a yoga pose or two if the mood hits -- all at speeds of up to 300km/h.
Flyers should be careful not to get carried away with superhero, spread-eagle movements as the facility can accommodate up to 20 flyers at any one time. So if it's a busy day, you'll be jostling for air space.

Beginner flight packages, inclusive of comprehensive training and two flight experiences, start from S$89 for an adult and S$79 for a child. For early-bird bookings contact info@iflysingapore.com or +65 6571 0000.
