Combine the two hottest trends in Singapore's raucous bar scene -- rooftop hangouts and Japanese-inspired cocktail dens -- and you get the en vogue Orgo.
The hipster watering hole sits atop the roof terrace of The Esplanade, Singapore’s impressive performing arts centre. Owner, Tomoyuki Kitazoe, opened his mod lounge during The Esplanade’s Mozaic music festival in March of this year and has become the standout to-be-seen scene.
Think you can hang? Snag your posse and come chill on the expansive outdoor deck, or stay cool inside where thankfully there's A/C so you don't sweat through your frock. Our fave: Pony up to the bar where Japanese super-stud bartenders create your cocktails like mixed martinis with fresh fruit and Grey Goose Vodka, or soursop (a tropical sour fruit indigenous to Southeast Asia) calamansi martini -- the best use of soursop we could possibly imagine.
