Irish pubs aren’t new in Singapore, but Mulligan’s is the first one to make it onto the island of Sentosa. Situated at Resorts World, this Irish pub and restaurant spans 3,000 square feet and also has an open-kitchen concept, which is rare for such a kind of venue. There are close to 200 bric-a-bracs that have been carefully sourced from Ireland, for a complete Irish experience. Obviously, there are Irish beers like Guinness and Kilkenny on tap -- as well as Heineken and Strongbow cider -- and the cuisine includes favorites such as fish and chips. Sports fans will be thrilled to know that live sports is shown frequently on multiple screens, and those who smoke can get some respite in the smoking room within the pub space. It’s the perfect place to ponder the complexities of life -- and the women shouldn’t complain either as they even have bag hangers at all bar seats!
You should know…
The first Mulligan’s Irish pub was opened in Clarke Quay in September 2009. It’s the first homegrown Irish pub, helmed by LifeBrandz Ltd, which is also responsible for bars such as Clinic, Zirca and Yello Jello.
You should try…
To have a taste of the more ‘Irish’ items on the menu, such as the All Day Fry Up (S$18), Bangers and Mash (S$16) or the Shepherd’s Pie (S$18).
