The Chinese-designed InfiniteUSB plug makes Chinese tech look good
InfiniteUSBThe InfiniteUSB has a "Made in China" label and streamlined design that even Apple would be proud of.

In a market where products, especially tech ones, usually have the word “shanzhai” attached to them, it’s exciting to see innovative Chinese tech design pop up.

We came across the InfiniteUSB plug concept by Chinese design student Jiang Gonglue on engadget and we agree with them when they say it’s a case of why-didn’t-we-think-of-this-first brilliance.

Frustrated with a lack of USB ports and always switching out one USB plug for another (this comment is aimed at all Apple's MacBook Air users), Jiang created the InfiniteUSB plug that lets you connect multiple USB plugs into one port. Each connector has a male USB plug on one side and a female socket on the rear. Sexy. You’ll never have to choose between using your mouse, camera, phone and memory stick again. And the plugs look pretty cool too.

And if you're worried about the power drain using multiple devices might cause, Jiang's site has an answer.

Hope the InfiniteUSB plug moves from the concept to production stage soon. We’ll keep an eye out at our local electronics market.
