Platane: Chic design since 2006

Platane Shanghai -- with an immaculately edited collection of elegant Oriental textiles accented with swoon-worthy home and leisurewear accessories from around the world -- proved to be exactly the type of chic lifestyle store Shanghai needed when it opened in 2006.

Now Platane has joined forces with funky French textile brand Robert Le Heros to open a spacious two-storey boutique on Taikang Lu.

Head upstairs to the tiny mezzanine to check out Robert Le Heros’ boldly printed linen and cotton fabrics and accessories on display.

Don't stop there though, the rest of the space is adorned with everything you've come to expect from Platane from hand-painted wallpaper and Egyptian cotton and Mongolian cashmere loungewear to stationery and children’s clothing by some of our favorite locally-based designers, including Paperie Shanghai, KID Cashmere and Karen Spencer.
