Illudeco, a French-founded, Asian-inspired business, sells handcrafted lamps (with elm wood stands), Chinese-style lanterns and ceiling lights -- of all shapes and sizes.

Work the kitsch look with that lampshade in fur (or perhaps something more refined in Thai silk). You can also bring your own fabric for a custom Illudeco lamp.

Tip: Think before you buy -- the gigantic Chinese red lantern that looks good in the showroom may not cut it in your cozy front room. Custom requests take from one day to a week, depending on their stock of materials. For an extra fee, Illudeco will ship your order to you.
