Don't ditch your wardrobe, get designer Lu Min to stitch it together
We can't figure out how many originals were recycled in this new look by Shanghai designer Lu Min -- but who cares as long as it looks this good?A one-off custom designed piece by Lu Min, one of China’s hottest young couturiers, for the price of a Zara blouse? Not possible you say, but it's true.
Lu Min of Shanghai-based label Studio PI offers a RE:License line whereby she’ll work her deconstructed magic on your tired wardrobe pieces or forgettable (and almost forgivable) fast fashion buys to create a unique outfit with a fresh, seasonal twist.
It costs just RMB 380 for a spruce-up of a single piece and up to RMB 1,380 for a full consultation and reconstruction with added materials -- a small price to pay for the personalized creations of this up-and-coming fashion star who has already worked with the likes of Oscar de la Renta, Donna Karan and Givenchy.
So don't ditch any of your old buys or worn out favorites until you've given Lu Min a chance to spin them into something new.
We're not sure about embarrassing Hawaiian shirt hidden in the back of the closet though.
