Video: ‘Kung Fu Bunny 3: Counterattack’
Never was there such a rivalry like Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd’s -- until now. Chinese animator Vincent’s ‘Kung Fu Bunny 3: Counterattack,’ an short film about an animated dog who gets his tail handed to him by a rascally rabbit, is making the round on Chinese forums and the social networking sites Kaixin001.
Many of the comments left on the Youku site and translated by ChinaSMACK refer to the fact that the Chinese animation industry still has a long way to go. That said, it’s movies like this one and “See Through” (“打,打个大西瓜” -- Youtube video), a 16-minute movie with major anti-war themes, that show some of the best of Chinese animation and give a sneak preview of what local animators might have to offer the animation industry in the future.
