Tuning into the Shanghai Music China 2009 Expo
Shanghai New International Expo Center turns into a playground for the musically-inclined
Coming together at the Shanghai Music China 2009 Expo for a musical meeting of the minds.Although we were inclined to dismiss the Shanghai Music China 2009 Expo at first glance (what could an Expo in Pudong know about music?), after reading up on ChinaTravel, we reconsidered our position and shuttered our snobbery.
Even though the first two days of the event (which starts today, Oct. 13) are the typical industry-only days, Thursday and Friday (Oct. 15-16) are open to the public.
Our guess is that if you want to find a local musician, producer, tech-head or all-around music lover, they’ll be there on Oct. 15 and 16 checking out Music China 2009’s displays and prototypes from the top names in music-related companies.
Look for names like Warwick, Gibson and Electro-Harmonix to be in attendance.
