Art Scene Warehouse at M50 exhibits some of Shanghai's best artistic talents.
No need for a black turtleneck and beret here -- M50 art space is open to the masses, not only those with art history degrees.
Although this is one of the better known creative spaces in Shanghai, wandering into M50 at 50 Moganshan Lu, still gives you the feeling you’ve stumbled across a real hidden gem. It’s a thriving hub of galleries and studios with exhibitions from both up-and-coming artists and established names in Shanghai’s art world.
For innovative photography at M50 check out Xuan Min Jin’s work in Building 7, or for disarmingly large sculpture/canvas exhibits, step into one of M50’s founding galleries, Art Scene Warehouse, Building 4.
