Built in the 1930s to be the largest abattoir in East Asia, the architectural achievement that is 1933 has now been repurposed to draw visitors rather than cattle, housing clothing boutiques, event spaces, wine stores and restaurants. Come shop, ogle the Escher-inspired staircases and test your fear of heights at the glass-floored gallery on the top level.
