Video filmed in AKQA’s offices. Now we know what creatives do to get their juices flowing -- they drink Lipton.

Capitalizing on one of the more effective marketing tricks in the business -- viral marketing -- Lipton, the largest producer of tea in China, is leaving other brands to fight it out for headlines, while it dominates clicks online, with its new video uploading contest.

The contest’s theme is simple enough and centers around having a cup of tea in the office. The idea behind the contest is to get drinkers of tea (yes the millions of them) to come up with their own videos of, well, drinking tea in the workplace.

Below are two others from the marketing series. Makes you wonder if your office would love karaoke as much if you just had some Lipton around.

While the “commercials” are hosted on Lipton’s youku homepage, they have spread across the web. Mission accomplished.
