China's artists EXPOsed by UK Pavilion

The UK Expo Pavilion reaches out to creative Chinese youth
QQ ZhaoBeijing-based illustrator QQ Zhao’s take on “Your Hope for the Future” is a pantheon of cultural luminaries, from Mr Bean to Hello Kitty.

Our buddies over at creative platform/consultancy NeochaEDGE are teaming up with the UK Expo Pavilion to launch a competition for Chinese artists.

Submissions can be in the form of an original song, video, illustration or graphic design touching on the themes of sustainability and “your hope for the future.”

Animators also have the option to score their short films with “Everything’s Changing,” a track from British pop-rockers Keane.

NeochaEDGE has gotten the ball rolling with sample artworks from seven awesomely talented artists. Check them out here.

To enter, check the rules here, and send your submissions to ukpavilion.douban@gmail.com by May 9. The selected animator or musician will win RMB 10,000 worth of vouchers, and the winning illustrator or graphic designer will win RMB 4,000 worth. Groovy.
