Not your mall food court, this spot in the basement of the SWFC offers 12 open-kitchen cuisine options for you to choose from.
Shanghai’s Y’s Table has added a new dimension to east-of-the-river dining with an eclectic subterranean locale.
Occupying the lower basement of the Shanghai World Financial Center, this smart food court features 12 open-kitchen cuisine options, each with its own dining area and wait service. Not a venue for the decision-making challenged.
Selections range from an Italian buffet, pastas and pizzas (courtesy of Japan-based Pizza Salvatore Cuomo and Grill), to five Japanese cuisines, including Tonkatsu and Curry, Sushi and Takoyaki and Chinese noodles and dim sum by Crystal Jade. This in itself is enough to tempt Puxi-ites into taking a leap across the river.
The portions are substantial and can be washed down with a drink from Y's creatively name bar, The Bar. Before rolling out the door, visit the Y's Table Bottega for desserts and deli goodies to take home.
