hof
Brian Tan's hof poses one serious problem to dessert lovers: which one do you choose?

Brian Tan has built up such a following for his exceptional chocolate desserts and reasonable lunch sets, that when he opened his latest branch, hof, there was barely a need to announce it. And now, a mere months since it opened, diners are practically queuing up to get in the moment he opens his doors at 3pm.

The décor is just so right -- leather-covered banquettes, warm, low lighting, small, cozy tables and a glass dessert case filled with sweet artworks so beguiling you can barely hold back from ordering one of each.

The caramel chocolate mousse and orange chocolate mud cake have adoring fans.

For your dessert pairing, hof’s signature cocktails whipped up by bartender Dennis, have ladies swooning. The Shanghai Mei Mei is a particular favorite, a mix of wax berry juice, vodka, lime juice and rose syrup, forming a brightly refreshing aromatic, ideal for languid summer days.

hof also offers a small but superb selection of savories, including a filling, cheesy Croque Madame that forms the ultimate buffer before an afternoon of cocktails.
