El Willy: Saturday brunch just got better
Brunch is a Shanghai institution.
Some brunches have reached legendary status. With an RMB150, five-course menu that changes weekly and a patio space made for lounging like lizards on a sunny rock (with a bottle of vino in hand -- lizards are such lushes), tapas institution El Willy pretty much has all the bases covered. Yet somehow, it just got better.
Taking seriously all the food-quality hubbub we get so much of in China, El Willy is scaling up its brunch offerings -- without changing its prices. Really, scouts’ honor.
The restaurant is teaming up with Shanghai's new high-quality and organic produce delivery company FIELDS, which will deliver veggies and other produce for brunch items for at least the next four weeks. We’re crossing our fingers the deal will be extended.
New on the scene, FIELDS gets its high-quality and organic produce from farms around Shanghai, quality checking shipments every step of the way. At El Willy brunches, a FIELDS representative will be on hand to explain exactly how the company works and where it gets its food. For more info email steve.liang@fieldschina.com.cn
