Club MAO
Not quite what The Chairman had in mind, but it doesn't stop beat loving party-goers at MAO.

The Chairman never saw this coming.

Situated on an otherwise-peaceful street in the former French Concession, this glitzy nightclub is the type of spot you’d rather expect to find on Ibiza, or at least along the Bund.

The vibe is Euro (not that there’s anything wrong with that), the bass is thumping and the cover charges are frequently steep, especially for the themed weekend parties (calling all S&M fetishists: the “Pervert” party is exactly what it sounds like).

Even if you prefer a more vanilla party atmosphere, the cocktails, late-night parties keep and garden out back makes MAO worth a visit.

They accept:
American Express, Mastercard, Visa, Cash
