JZ Club is the spot for jazz in Shanghai, offering live performances nearly every night of the week.

Channeling the vibe that was Shanghai in the 1930s (right down to the historically accurate hole-in-the-ground toilets), JZ Club offers up quality jazz from local and international musicians.

This little live-music haven tends to go from intimate to downright cramped on the weekends, but it’s a surefire fun time no matter what.

Sight-lines from the second floor (table reservations only) to the stage are limited, so it’s best to show up early to snag a seat on the ground floor. If you need a break from the music and the crowds, head upstairs to the JZ Club's rooftop terrace for some air.
