Must-see photo: Ku Bon-Ryul soars at New Zealand Winter Games 2011
Makes your cubicle suddenly seem claustrophobic, doesn't it? There’s nothing like a boiling hot day in urban Seoul to make you start craving some big mountains and open air.
Which is why we're supremely jealous of the Korean athletes competing right now at the Winter Games in New Zealand.
For some reason, Korean media outlets have not been reporting on the competition, even though it's sponsored by Kia and a number of the country's top athletes are competing in main events.
In the Snowboard Big Air event today, Ku Bon-Ryul represented Korea and placed 10th out of 40 competitors -- Maxence Parrot of Canada came in first -- while Park Sung-Jin placed 16th. Kwon Dae-won and Park Kwang-Soo also competed, but did not place.
